Yes, there is an easy way to copy and paste

Find the text you wish to copy

Place your cursor on the last letter (lower right hand side) in the body of text

Single left click and hold your mouse button

Drag the mouse to the top of the text you wish to copy

You should notice that the text is be "highlighted" in a blue

Once you have selected your text, the quickest way copy is to press the CTRL key and the C key at the same time

On some keyboards it's CNTL

This will copy the text into memory

Go to the place you want to put the text single left click where you want the text to go and then press the CTRL key and the V key at the same time

This will paste the text into the new message

You may also substitute a CTRL-X instead of a CTRL-C

This will cut your test out of the source message instead of just copying it

Hope this helps

I know, I know...

This thread is old, and you are now possibly the computer genius & can probably teach me a few things  But if you're not, then 1 more tip. I found that some like the Keyboard version, (I for one do) but others like to use the mouse as much as possible.

For copying: just as described earlier, left click 1x at the beginning of text you want to copy, while still holding down the left button (if you let go, it is ok, just push down again)and drag to the last character you want copied. As mentioned, you should see all of the text you chose - will be highlighted.

Next, press the right button and a submenu will pop up with an option to choose "Copy", move the mouse cursor over the word Copy, then left click. The highlited text is now in memory as copied text waiting to be pasted somewhere.

For Pasting: Go to where you want the beginning of copied text to appear, left click 1x, then right click, sub menu appears, scroll mouse cursor to word "Paste", then left click. Voila - copied text is pasted.

Note: Copying & Pasting will work between "Most Any" window that is opened on your computer screen. So if you want to copy anything say from your word processor, or a graphics program or from your favorite website, just follow the above or "Seeking's" version and it will work.
