Hi Steve,

I have to say I am delighted to see you posting Greg Laurie's devotionals and sermons on this site! Did you, by any chance, attend any of his crusades this past weekend? Its an awesome experience, like a tiny taste of heaven, many peoples represented all singing songs of praise to our Lord together, receiving encouragement, as well as a call to faith, etc. This year I went on the field for the first time as a follow up counselor - what a privelege to pray with new believers and those rededicating their lives. If you haven't yet attended, I highly recommend it for next year.

Hi mwep,

Yes, I did attend Friday evening of the Crusade. I too went to an Impact Class they had, in case I was called to be a follow up counselor. It was my first time at the event, so I wanted to get the feeling of it, then next year most definitely, I will be a follow up counselor.

I was drawn there to experience first hand the event. My whole life, people who are un-informed in the Molokan group would bad-talk these crusades, or anything that a American Church would do. These people would trash talk it, but never once go to an event like this. Because, they maybe are too "duhovnie", or "ne-pa'nashemoo", or that's for the "nee-nash".... the horrible and racist list goes on.

It was nice to see first hand, that these events preach a True Message from the Bible, give people a chance to invite someone who hasn't been saved, listen to good music, and have a chance to answer the Calling of the Lord. And for the believers that were there, uniting in Fellowship and Prayer.

Randy Travis was awesome on Friday Night.

Hi Steve:

I find this interesting Steve, since many of the first genertion Molokans went to other services other than their Molokan Church. Actually the grandfather you are named after use to attend a black church in central calif in the town in which he lived, mid week. He enjoyed seeing the fervor of their song and the rejoicing of their movements in praise to our Lord Jesus Christ. I remember the tent meetings in East LA which I attended when I was a child. We Molokans forget we are suppose to be seekers after Jesus Christ first and foremost. For those whose faith is too weak maybe they need to stay away and be "nash" only. That is their choice. But beware, for their are also wolves and counterfeits out there as their are in our Molokan churches and throughout all this world.

My daughter and I went a few years back.

30,000 people with the same goal was scarrrrrry.

If they asked they could have fixed the worlds problems.

That was the extent of the power that was there.

Good for you, for allowing yourself to be a truth seeker and not falling prey to the ignorant fear mongers. May God bless your efforts to seek Him and His truth, and to grow mightily in it. I hope you follow through on your intention for next year - its a committment that goes a few weeks after the event is over, and it will certainly stretch you, all for your good and God's glory.

Thanks for the words. Yes, next year I will follow through on helping others at the Crusade event, and in Everyday Life. I am sure it is an amazing ministry to do with someone, to pray with them, find them a good Bible Based Church, keep in contact with them, and fellowship with them if needed.

Take Care!

Your Christian growth, IS simply amazing and I pray this same prayer that Apostle Paul prayed in Hebrews 13, over all your future endeavors;

Hebrews 13:20 Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, 21 make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. NKJV

And again Amen!

Randy Travis was awesome on Friday Night.

Hey Steve-

I really enjoyed that Friday night Worship at the Crusade with you!

I must say, Randy Travis's highest note is about 5 octaves lower than the lowest note I can hit! He is and was Awesome- A true Spiritual treat to see him preform that night! He had awesome words to say too.

I will honestly and openly say that I am very ashamed at anyone (Molokan or not) that spiritually kills these types of Crusades, especially to the Elders who do rather than try to fix their own churches problems- I have been several times in the past 10 years and it only grows and grows! My church has withered down to 5-10 members on Sundays or less and we are expected to get fed there?

Pastor Laurie's is not greater than anyone else nor does he clam to be- What we obviously witnessed a dedicated man of God- A True Christian- A Brother in Christ. He had just lost a dear son and to see him continue on following his calling only brought tears of sadness but even more tears of joy! I could not believe that when you told me the fire Martials had to stop allowing people in on Saturday because in was to it's full capacity! Not that people worship him-But to show support and to be fed the Word and more so for the ones that are lost and now are found!

I had to sit on a cold Sunday morning at my church not to long ago with a true brother by my side and listen to one of the most worshiped Molokan elders sit there and gloat about how the Words of Christ and Pauls writings are for the "world" and the Anti-Christian Calvary are just "Jesus loves me " people and they don't fast seven days for their "Own Glory." And we don't need that- We just need forefatherism. I spoke the Truth about my excperiances there- They fear the Truth as it is a threat to their positions and prominance- Thats all I can figure. The Bible instructs Christians to shake the dust off the feet and leave Non-believers of any faith- I am not leaving and I am a Molokan. But when someone condemns Christians of any color or denomination they are condemnind Christ and I will defend them by way of His Word.

It was a blessing to attend again and to sing and Worship and to hear a great speech and to pray along with all that gave their life to Christ that night- They are new brothers and sisters of the Family.

GoodDay, I too will say it was an awesome evening. What a site to see people make the most important decision of their life and come to Christ and answer the Calling.

I agree that the elders who bash these events, have never attended so they have no true experience and their words are a resounding gong. They try to be a "peculiar" people, yet Monday through Saturday it's all about the "bling-bling".

No longer will I walk in fear of man or their man-made rules and ordinances.
