seeking_truth_1 0 Report post Posted March 28, 2010 Perhaps you have heard the idiom "There is an elephant in the room" It's meaning is "a major or controversial problem that is not discussed" The cult of molokanism is doing exactly that by ignoring the obvious glaring inconsistencies with their failed religion of men versus what the Bible calls for in terms of Faith, Salvation, Scripture & Who Jesus Is It's those uncomfortable topics that everyone understands and yet chooses to willfully ignore in discussion Everything is "fine" until someone pipes up with "Hey, there's a really big elephant in the room...What he's doing there?" That elephant could be: 1) Is Jesus Deity 2) Is the Bible the Word of God and is it infallible? 3) Why are "we" practicing overt racism when the Bible says we're all the same 4) How can there be a "new israel" when the "old" Israel is still in the land 5) How can a man be consider a "prophet of god" when his prophecies have been wrong 6) How can the writings of this "prophet of god" be 180 degrees opposite of what the Bible teaches 7) How can I "work" my way to Heaven when the Bible says you cannot At what point to you begin to question the sanity of those who continue to ignore these "elephant sized" realities and how can you in good conscience continue to actively participate? The elephant isn't going away no matter how much you ignore it
lastinline 0 Report post Posted March 29, 2010 Is that anything similar to: "THE EMPEROR HAS NO CLOTHES" Hear no heresy, see no heresy and above all, "Sit down and shut up with the Born Again, garbage." Thoughts? lastinline (& fully clothed in Christ Jesus)
