Were Do You Go?

Were do you go to work out?And how many times a week? I go to Bally's and go 5 times a week. But this week the kids had VBS and I was stuck at home with my young one so no time to work out at all this week :sad:

Where do I go to work out?

 

I have a treadmill at home - which I try to use a minimum of 3 to 4 times a week, plus free weights. I find that if you have to look at the treadmill everyday - it guilts you into using it. (Been trying to get my husband to use it more frequently as well..) I would like to add an eliptical machine to the mix and a weight machine eventually.

 

I also have 2 small children - one who rides in a jogging stroller and the other who walks - we walk 1 mile 4 days a week in the morning with out fail. It is a great way to get in some extra exercise, plus wear out the older kid so that he takes a nap in the afternoon.

I have read that it is 30 minutes. What I think is key is that you break a sweat and that you get your heart rate going and keep it consistent. Using the pre-programmed workouts on a treadmill is helpful, too.
