  1. Looks Like Some Amernians In The Wood Pile

Isn't it interesting now that the Armenians still do not exclude Molokans from joining them for fellowship and worship services today? What happened?
  2. Salvation By Grace?

Hello FOP, Regarding "I send, to clear the path..." Malachi 3 1 “I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the LORD Almighty. The first messenger mentioned in this verse would be John the Baptist. The second messenger is Jesus the Messiah. Matthew 11:10 10 This is the one about whom it is written: “‘I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you. Mark 1:2 2 as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: “I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way” Luke 7:27 27 This is the one about whom it is written: “‘I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you. FOP, What words or names does Maxcim use to refer to himself in the S&L? What does Maxcim ask, instruct, or expect us to do in regards to himself? Did or does Aposte Paul or "Chuck Swindle" use the same names or give us the same instructions or expectations for themselves?
  3. Salvation By Grace?

The problem here is that all of you think that, those that accept the S&L, put Maxcim on the same par or above Jesus. I have never heard of such a thing in my life! I choose Jesus Christ! By doing that I accept all those that follow the Lamb. The only one that is ahead is the Holy Spirit, for it is written- " I send, to clear the path....." Hello FOP, Thank you for clarifying that. Who is Maxcim, where should he be put, what is his role? What do you mean by "accept all those that follow the Lamb"? Who is the Lamb? Also, where exactly is "I send, to clear the path..." written? Thanks
  4. Salvation By Grace?

Hello FOP, I would still like to know, which version of the Bible is the right one? Also, if you were standing in front of the narod and had to choose between Jesus Christ and Maxcim to determine who saves your soul and where you will be spending eternity, who will you choose? You can only choose one, not both - who is it going to be? That is a very simple question. I know what my answer is. What is yours?
  5. Things To Think About

There is no person or no thing that can compare to God. He is the ONLY one who is perfect. God is holy. The opposite of holy is common. God's standard of holy is absolute purity. How do the people around you influence you? How do you influence them? Humble yourself before God. You can not be cleansed by works. How do you pray? Do you praise Him? Who or what is the king of your life? Before we give God's message to others, we must first heed that message ourselves and apply it to our own life. How do you confirm God's calling to you? With: scripture? circumstances? peace? Do not sit back and do nothing. If God is calling you to do something for Him, do it! What did Isaiah do? When we resist God, we will not receive His truth. Isaiah faced stubborn and hard hearted people. A true message is a hard message to give. Our job as servants are to speak God's truth, faithfully and with obedience. The rest is up to God. Will you trust in Him to provide you with what you need to carry out what He wants you to do? More.. Are you trying the patience of God? What does Immanuel mean? Who or what do you have faith in? Trust in God, trust in His Word, stand firm.
  6. False Ecumenical Doctrines

Hello FOP, You sound very similar to another person I was dialoguing with not to long ago. Anyway, You are correct when you say that God sent His prophets to correct His people. Of course, His chosen people did not heed his correction and we all know what happened to them (if not, the facts can be found in the Bible). A king will come? Are you putting Jesus and Maxcim on the same level? Who are you getting your teachings from? How does the S&L match up to the Bible? Which Bible? Which interpretation of the Bible is the right one? I would like to know, so I can be sure that I have the right one. If "all" of the glory is going to God, why do some give glory to Maxcim? What does Maxcim say about himself in the S&L, do you know? What is more important, Christ's word or Maxcim's word? When it comes down to your salvation, do you put your faith or вера in Christ or Maxcim? Your salvation and where you spend eternity is on the line, you can only choose one.
  7. False Ecumenical Doctrines

FOP, this is directed to you with respect (and interest in what your answer would be) - Israel (not the new one) is God's chosen people. Always has been, always will be. Are you familiar with the book of Isaiah? It is there in the Old Testament between Song of Solomon and Jeremiah. Isaiah warned God's chosen people, but they did not listen. There was a serious gap between God's expectations and what fruit was being beared (referring to Israel and Judah) God delivered His people from danger and led them to a prosperous land The people became arrogant and self sufficient They did not lead others to God, did not lead others to God's house There was no fruit producing justice or righteousness They disregarded His grace and His love He was going to reciprocate ---------------------------------------------- (Paraphrased from notes page 2 - 4 Lesson 4) Six woes Isaiah 5:8-23 A. Covetous Monopoly 5:8-10 B. Self Indulgence 5:11-17 C. Daring Presumption and Defiance of God 5:18-19 D. Subverting Moral Principals E. Pride and Self-Complacency 5:21 F. Perversion of Justice 5:22-23 ----------------------------------------------- What happened to Judah and Jerusalem and why? How long did it take for his prophecies to come to pass? 10 years? 20 years? 30 years? 100 years? More? It is all there in the Bible. No stage, no lights, no big screen. WHO or WHAT do you put your faith and trust regarding your salvation into? A faith / religion or Jesus Christ?
  8. Scripture Says It All

I would like to thank you, of so very much for posting this informantive Scripture. ПРОСТИТЕ ЛОРДS. You seem to be saying that actions speak much louder than words. Right? With that in mind, I would like to bring to your attention some clear words of action, which all in attendance, witnessed and were visibly demonstred the power of the spirit! Toward the end a resent church service commonly called and known as "Pominki," a beloved prophet (JJH), affectionately known as Ha.o.chick, was clearly awaken by his STRONG spirit with twisting gyrations, abundant tears and highly pained facial expressions in tremendous power seemed to skip powerfully and then passionately kissed with a fiery tongue the mother of the deceased loved one and then spoke as if he were the deceased speaking and spoke powerfully with great authority. I now quote with some paraphrasing: MOMA, MOMA PLEASE FORGIVE ME AND RELEASE ME! MOMA, MOMA ПОЖАЛУЙСТА ПРОЩАЮТ МНЕ И ВЫПУСКАЮТ МЕНЯ! lastinline So, what exactly does God's Word (The Bible) say about this kind of thing? Is this any different than going and seeing madame sofia (or sophia) over there off the 99 freeway in Fowler, or having a seance? From Wikipedia: A séance (pronounced /ˈseɪ.ɑːns/) is an attempt to communicate with spirits. The word "séance" comes from the French word for "seat," "session" or "sitting," from the Old French "seoir," "to sit." In French, the word's meaning is quite general: one may, for example, speak of "une séance de cinéma" ("a movie session"). In English, however, the word came to be used specifically for a meeting of people who are gathered to receive messages from spirits or to listen to a spirit medium discourse with or relay messages from spirits; many people, including skeptics and non-believers, treat it as a form of entertainment. In modern English usage, participants need not be seated while engaged in a séance. One of the earliest books on the subject of communication amongst deceased persons was Communitation With the Other Side by George, First Baron Lyttelton, published in England in 1760.[1] Among the notable spirits quoted in this volume are Peter the Great, Pericles, a "North-American Savage," William Penn, and Christina Queen of Sweden. The popularity of séances grew dramatically with the founding of the religion of Spiritualism in the mid-nineteenth century. Perhaps the best-known series of séances conducted at that time were those of Mary Todd Lincoln who, grieving the loss of her son, organized Spiritualist séances in the White House, which were attended by her husband, President Abraham Lincoln, and other prominent members of society.[2] The 1887 Seybert Commission report marred the credibility of Spiritualism at the height of its popularity by publishing exposures of fraud and showmanship among secular séance leaders.[3] Modern séances continue to be a part of the religious services of Spiritualist, Spiritist, and Espiritismo churches today, where a greater emphasis is placed on spiritual values versus showmanship.[4][5] Religious séances Main articles: Spiritualism, Spiritism, and Espiritismo In the religion of Spiritualism, it is generally a part of services to communicate with the dead. The term "séance" is not often used to describe this, except by outsiders; a preferred term is "receiving messages." In these sessions, which generally take place in well lit Spiritualist churches or outdoors at Spiritualist camps (such as Lily Dale in upstate New York or Camp Cassadaga in Florida), an ordained minister or gifted contact medium will relate messages from the dead to the living.[4] Generally Spiritualist "message services" or "demonstrations of the continuity of life" are open to the public. Sometimes the medium stands to receive messages and only the sitter is seated;[6] in some churches, the message service is preceded by a "healing service" involving some form of faith healing.[7] In addition to communicating with the spirits of people who have a personal relationship to congregants, some Spiritual Churches also deal with spirits who may have a specific relationship to the medium or a historic relationship to the body of the church. An example of the latter is the spirit of Black Hawk, a Native American warrior of the Fox tribe who lived during the 19th century. Black Hawk was a spirit who was often contacted by the Spiritualist medium Leafy Anderson and he remains the central focus of special services in the African American Spiritual Churches that she founded.[5] In the Latin American religion of Espiritismo, which somewhat resembles Spiritualism, séance sessions in which congregants communicate with spirits are called misas (literally "masses"). The spirits contacted in Espiritismo are often those of ancestors or Catholic saints Mediumship, trance, and channeling Main article: Mediumship Mediumship is the term used to describe an act where the practitioner attempts to receive messages from spirits of the dead and other spirits that the practitioner believes exist. Some self-ordained mediums are fully conscious and awake while functioning as contacts; others may slip into a partial or full trance or an altered state of consciousness. These self called 'trance-mediums' often state that, when they emerge from the trance state, they have no recollection of the messages they conveyed; it is customary for such practitioners to work with an assistant who writes down or otherwise records their words.[9] "Channeling" is a modern term for mediumship and is found most often in descriptions of stage mediums and leader-assisted séances who convey messages from spirits who are thought to be teachers of wisdom. Channeling is a process by which the medium allows a spirit limited use of his or her physical body to communicate with the sitters present. This is distinct from the concept of possession, which is considered to be the complete, non-consensual takeover of a living being by a spirit. Channeling, on the other hand, is assumed to offer opportunities for more positive and mutually respectful interaction between the living medium and the spirit. Critical objections Scientific skeptics and atheists generally consider both religious and secular séances to be scams, or at least a form of pious fraud, citing a lack of empirical evidence.[12] The Jewish religion strictly prohibits taking part in anything to do with it. Likewise, Islam prohibits this act. Some Christians believe that spirits can be contacted (as presented in the First Book of Samuel, for example),[13] but that the Bible specifically forbids contact with spirits, and they cite Biblical verses to support their belief.[14] Critics of channeling—including both skeptics and those who do believe in spirits—state that since the most commonly-reported physical manifestations of channeling are an unusual vocal pattern or abnormal overt behaviors of the medium, channeling is therefore quite easily faked by anyone with theatrical talent.[11] So, again I ask - What does God's Word (The Bible) say about this?
  9. Things To Think About

Yes, a very compelling warning to comprehend and heed! Thank You lastinline I agree - and my thanks to the Lord from where the warnings are coming from - His Word - and also to the person who presents the lecture each week.

More.. Isaiah was an exceptionally talented individual. Song and poetry is (today) and was very important back in the day. Talking about the song of the vineyard in Isaiah Interesting how song / music has a way of finding its way into a person's mind or memory. Even if the message of the song is of a Godly nature or not. We are helpless without God. Focus becomes on ourselves - self sufficiency Why wait for a catastrophy to need God? Humility and trust in God are of the utmost importance - give God the credit for all accomplishments and blessings Interesting - There was a serious gap between God's expectations and what fruit was being beared (referring to Israel and Judah) God delivered His people from danger and led them to a prosperous land The people became arrogant and self sufficient They did not lead others to God, did not lead others to God's house There was no fruit producing justice or righteousness They disregarded His grace and His love He was going to reciprocate ---------------------------------------------- (Paraphrased from notes page 2 - 4 Lesson 4) Six woes Isaiah 5:8-23 A. Covetous Monopoly 5:8-10 B. Self Indulgence 5:11-17 C. Daring Presumption and Defiance of God 5:18-19 D. Subverting Moral Principals E. Pride and Self-Complacency 5:21 F. Perversion of Justice 5:22-23 ----------------------------------------------- What does your life look like to God? God expects His people to live by the standards of His Word (not someone else's) Do you know what God expects of you? Are you interested in blessings more than you are in obeying God? Regular church attendance just because or outward forms of religion are empty to God. Are you living for yourself? If so, you are living for nothing. Everything you will do is futile. God is the provider of everything. Continued disregard for Him will result in consequences. God does keep His word. Arrogant disbelief - blatant disregard of God's ethical requirements. What does God think? What people think is immaterial. Disregard God's laws and standards and there will be no laws or standards. God's laws cannot be altered. What are you doing to be sucked into what is acceptable to man or the world? What are you doing to protect your children from that? God gave us these standards for our own benefit. God's judgement will come to those who ignore Him. He said it. He meant it. It will happen. Where do you stand in God's eyes right now? How many more warnings does a person need? Apart from the Lord, you can do nothing.
  11. Things To Think About

We may look good on the outside and go through the motions, but God knows the condition of each and every one of our hearts. God is grieved with man's (our) sin - it has an impact and causes wreckage. Good "things" can become idols, too - an example of this is if a person sets out to do a good thing, but does it to win favor in the eyes of man instead of God. Sin has consequences. Rebellion angers God - how are you rebelling against God? God is weary and burdened by meaningless worship and prayer. Do it the right way and quit just going through the motions! Religion WILL NOT be an acceptable substitute for the purity of heart. God hates meaningless - thoughtless - heartless worship. Organized religion What is taking place in our hearts? Are we just going through the motions? Are we fully engaged in song or sermon? Are we honoring God in our in our celebrations? What about our service? God disciplines his children for the purpose of restoration. Who can we help even though they cannot reciprocate? How can we encourage those who need encouragement? Willingness and obedience in heart = blessings Resistance and rebellion = consequences Submit to God or receive the consequences. Don't become dross - don't become diluted. Stop looking out for number one. What is your rebellion? What are you doing to grieve God? Prophecies are warnings (or opportunities) from God for us to change our ways. What is your motive to study God's Word? (more..) Are you streaming to church to be taught the Word of God? Are you taking others with you? What is in the way? What is being thrown at you to prevent you from going? Are you enjoying what you are being taught in church? What is an idol? An idol is anything you exalt in your heart as a substitute for God, or to disobey God. When people willfully sin and rebel against God, He will remove His hand and let them go forward on that distructive path. Idolatry - eastern philosophies, religions, incorporate paganism - seeking wisdom from the dead Pride - worship of self - a common idol An idol can be an organization, a person, an activity, a tradition. Self absortion - absorbed in me instead of God, also being mired in self pity, low self esteem, full of self. Security in stability in self and others full of pride. Humility - is finding confidence and stability in God instead of yourself. Confidence needs to be founded in God. Where do you get your guidance from? The Lord alone will be exalted. We try to exalt ourselves, and the Lord will humble us. Self pride = self degradation Stop putting your trust in man. What needs to be removed from our lives? What do you need to deal with? How are you going to do it? What has eternal worth? How is God's Word impacting your life?
  12. Why Was Abraham Considered Righteous?

How about, he was faithful AND obedient to God?
  13. Things To Think About

From the lecture: Turn away from sin or face what is coming your way. Prophecy - a warning of what's to come. Isaiah was a man who lived true to the vision, was consistent in delivering God's message, he was an uncompromised man who displayed integrity, longevity, and compassion. Look to God for Him to reveal Himself, quit trying to do things yourself, ask God for help. Ask yourself, what kind of influence am I? What are your convictions? Where do those convictions come from? Conviction makes us sensitive to sin, do not become desensitized to sin. God will reveal more of Himself to you through prayer and study. A consistent lifestyle combined with uncompromising conditions can profoundly have an influence on a culture (or better yet, your family and friends). What kind of influence do you have on the people around you? Does your influence lead them to God, or allow them to continue feeling good about the way things are? Judah was slipping into moral decay and worship was becoming mechanical with no understanding of God, and worship was not from the hearts of obedience. The unguarded proseperity lead to self reliance and an abandonment of faith in God. Pray for yourself, pray for your community. Jesus Christ is more important than politics. Prosperity is fleeting. God is eternal. Why study this Old Testament book? True prophets only deliver messages of truth, sometimes even unpopular messages instead of being spin doctors delivering what the people want to hear. Judge a prophet's gifts by how many prophecies come to pass. The Word of God (the Bible) is both reliable and eternal with a message of hope. From the BSF Notes - Lesson 1 page 3 / 4 E. "God was seriously calling for repentance and a change in hearts and lives of all men and women everywhere. However, nothing seemed to shake the self-reliance of the people in Israel or Judah or in the nations around them." III. "Isaiah, speaking for God, warned that they would also be judged for their own ungodly ways brutality, idolatry, and arrogance. IV. "What clung to the souls of the prophet's (Isaiah) listeners more than anything else was their callousness, smugness, and air of carpe diem" continued "He could denounce their lies, falshoods, oppressions of the poor and needy, or whatever else he wanted, but nothing was going to shake their self-confidence or their way of life. They believed that evil would not overtake them and cheerfully responded to any and all preaching to the contrary (Amos 9:10). In fact, the more God called either Israel or Judah, the more they went away from them (Hosea 11:2). There was no contrition, no compunctuation, no regret; only pride, conceit, and complacency (Isaiah 32:9-10). These people did not even realise that they were sick. The were going to die because of lack of knowledge; they have no regard for the deedws of the Lord, no respect for the work of His hands (5:12-13)." page 5 (Regarding Isaiah)"This is very important, because what we believe about God determines what we believe about ourselves, our world, our purposes, and our lives. What we believe determines how we behave. "
  14. Things To Think About

Isaiah 2:22 Stop trusting in man, who has but a breath in his nostrils. Of what account is he? Psalm 146:3-4 3Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal men, who cannot save. 4When their spirit departs, they return to the ground;on that very day their plans come to nothing. Note "but a breath in his nostrils" refers to mankind's morality. People are very limited when compared to God. They can be unreliable, selfish, and shortsighted. Yet we trust our lives and futures more readily to mortal human beings than to the all knowing God. Beware of people who want you to trust them instead of God. Remember that only God is completely reliable. He is perfect and loves us with an enduring love (Psalm 100:5)
