If you like orthodox religious pomp. If the deceased is a believer, this is a worthless prayer. If the deceased was not a believer, than it is still worthless. This was not God given. Besides - how many other different types of worship services have you attended in order to make such a statement? O' but they recite prayers at your funerals. Also, ashes to ashes and dirt to dirt. The grave is the final judge. There is no great white throne judgement like you think. The only prayers you have, is the ones that you shoot from the hip with. Make it up as you go along. I seriously pray that ALL Molokans read this. I know there are some Christians in there stuck with the walls of confusion. This may sound like im joking but am not. What if the person in charge of running the burial repetitious prayers are not heard? Does God allow for mispronunciations etc..? Again- Come out any Christians from these walls. At least come out for a while to see what is going on from afar and pray (from the hip) for God to reveal the complete Truth. Eventually the falseness of Molokanism will be more and more evident. This is something that really needs clarification in Molokan churches. Even when a person dies and was known to be against Jesus openly, they still ask for forgiveness? Many families say it makes them feel better to have this opportunity. The time to speak about Christ is when people are alive- Once a person dies - that's, that. Also, we are lead to believe we were saved at our Xtini? This is like bookend salvation- Start life being written into The Book of Life and then finished off with living people asking for forgiveness for the same persons sins. It would seem that nothing in between matters and the reasoning why it's really doesn't matter what one does being a Molokans as long as it's with other Molokans.
