Little Koshka, I appologise to you for my 'bite me' remark. You were correct to take me to task for it. I ask your forgiveness. Not everyone is lazy. Some people are becoming weary of a bad situation, have asked to have things corrected, and have been disrespectfully shut down. I can understand that. But there are numerour churches in our faith. Seek out a different one. With a minister you can talk to. Most would be willing to hear you out. Are you fluent in Russian? Do you understand everything that is being said? If you have children, are they fluent in Russian? Do they understand what is being said? No but I wish I were and am working on learning it right now. I have tried the differnet tapes and they didnt work for me. I rediscovered an old book that it great. My children are also learning but are able to start songs and participate now. The Bible teaches us about the Holy Spirit. He is not to be mocked. Are you certain its male? From some of the studies I have done its very possible the Holy Spirit maybe female. And to mock the holy spirit is not something I would do. I disagree with this. The Molokan church is not dead. The patient needs some serious resuscitation, love, healing, learning, and rejuvenation - the only way to acheive that is with Jesus Christ. What kind of language is "bite me"? There are other ways of expressing yourself when you disagree with someone. Please mind your manners. Noted. Something needs to be done. Doesn't anyone see that it is the youth that is and will be suffering the repercussions of the current social, spiritual, and political issues at hand here? Anyone? What would you like to see done? Shall we start another church? But this time without the S&L? The way Molokans were originally? Im there.

This is how you talk and you are inviting me to your church! Steadfast and Little Koshka (and anyone else I offended) I am sorry that my response to Seeking offended you. His rant and lack of discussion and more of attack upset me. I believe I have known him for many, many years and I let that get in the way. Its been the same tirad for so long. And no matter who answers nor how they answer its the same attack again and again. Im here for discussion, to be enlightened and maybe to give someone some food for thought. Im not here to keep anyone a Molokan nor am I here to recruite for my church elsewhere. Im here to discuss things and maybe get a fresh perspective. If I have caused anyone to stumble, please forgive me. The teenager in me responded instead of the uhhhhh.... adult, and I appologise from the bottom of my heart and ask your forgiveness. Shve Ya

What are they teaching? .......That Christ is the way the truth and the light For the most part (excluding maybe one or two small Bible only classes) molokan "churches" ARE NOT teaching The Word ..There are at least 9 classes in the Fresno area and countless more in LA. If you have the book open and are learning about Christ and that he is the only way to heaven.... I think thats learning the word... Isnt it. They are teaching traditions and cultural elements and a laundry list of rules that changes depending upon who is speak.....What is this laundry list you speak of? They aren't bursting at the seams because all are not welcomed and the Truth is not being proclaimed....They arent bursting at the seems because we are LAZY. Only a certain group of a certain ethnicity of a certain sect of a certain persuasion are allowed and all other need not apply....Okay I really cant argue here. As far as it being easier to leave, I would have to agree.....Did you see the part on lazy? We attend a Church that 1) Doesn't require "membership dues" (Please tell me what you think the "dues" are used for) 2) Doesn't require you to learn a foreign language (Unless youve been gifted with speaking in tongues that is) 3) Doesn't require you to wear a certain peasant clothing styled hundreds of years ago (Yeah but since Im a Shve Ya I kinda like it. PLUS have you seen what these women consider proper clothes for church) 4) Doesn't require you to only associate with only members of the Church (Not everyone is like that) 5) Doesn't require you to marry those from within the Church (I like knowing who I married, wether there were any sickos or murderers in their history. And so did you) 6) Only teaches the Bible (really? What about the Holy Spirit, they have anything to say about her?) AND ALL are welcomed to attend (you addressed that already) ""Ho! Everyone who thirsts, Come to the waters; And you who have no money, Come, buy and eat. Yes, come, buy wine and milk Without money and without price." (Isaish 55:1 NKJV) Isn't that the way it should be without putting burdens on people that do not have any Biblical basis? ANY, really lets not over do it Life is short and if the Lord has not called you to stick around then why do so? Are you addressing people who the Lord has called? Or fence sitters?....ie recrutes There isn't any benefit in participating in a false religion ............. False in whos eyes the molokan "church" is dead but the patient doesn't know it.........Bite me There are only so many days in the week And how many do you use to worship? How can one get fed the Word in a Bible teaching Church a couple times a week, do all of the other thing required in life (family, work etc..) and then have to dress up in russian peasant clothing and go to a place that doesn't teach the Bible nor even adhere to the basic tenets of Christianity I do not believe (for myself) this is the best use of my time in ministry .... It seems your ministry has sorely become one of bashing molokans and not actually teaching anyone anything How about you post some good thought provoking quest we can all embark on together in the search for answers in Gods kingdom.

And whe his arms are reaching, and his words are being taught.... Why does no one show up to hear it. Sunday school is all english. Ever Sunday Morning 9 to 10:30 before church. Lake Avenue, Kerman.

Oh! Bring in the subject of Easter when we are discussing the Christianity of Khlystianity. The old disrupt the thread trick, got it, good one!..... "meld paganism with Christanity...It will not work" .......Molokan churches believe it does, and will argue that question fervently. That's why we have a modified bible in our church. I just want to state that I did not bring up Easter. To date I have signed everything I have written and now joined. Im not ashamed of who I amor how I believe no would I ever send in a 'dig' as a hidden guest. But since it was brought up Seeking.... What is your stand on Easter? Steadfast?

You know of course, you belong to a religious cult, a religion centered around a person, I believe it's unknown to church management that your soul is being prepared for delivery to the spurious messiah. Their church is a place where questions are seemingly answered but in ambiguous terms, questions requiring detailed answers, as you will find out, are not welcomed. Too many detailed questions and you WILL be shunned and slated for extraction from that church, sometimes it takes years depending on your tenacity. If you want to stay DO NOT compare church practice with teachings of the Bible except in the most broad general sense, then you will be somewhat okay with the church. Once they sense you are on to them, you're done for, you will never be fully embraced into their fold! They do not accept any back peddling. Cults are VERY dangerous, Molokan Khkystians are not the only ones. Do a Google search on how to test for cultism and get back to me with what you find out. SF I do know that Molokans have been identified as a cult by the United States government. I am now going to what may be the only Molokan church that questions are embraced and answered. I agree with the rest of your statement for the most part, which makes me very sad. I went to a preacher recently and made a few statements and asked a few questions. I was lied to, to my face. I was given those broad evasive answers. I left the church. That church.

Why do you have mixed feelings. I dont believe anything should be used to bless with. Now I say this biting my tongue because I have not researched it. Isn't it like worshiping an idol? Arent we making it 'Christlike'? The Bilble is Holy and Gods word but its not part of the Trinity.

Are you new to the Scriptures? As you wish. Like many you will die like a Molokan. Is being Molokan a good way to die? I grew up going to bible classes, learning scriptures but never studying them really. It wasnt till about 6 years ago I decided it was time, actually way beyond time to grow up and get serious about learning and about not only my salvation but my childrens. Shame on me, what had I done. My children new Christ but that was about it. I will die a Molokan because I am a Molokan. But I will greet the lord as a Christan becuse that is who I am. If you die just a Molokan there is no salvation.
