Dan, What you seem to be doing is what many people do to "justify" their beliefs by using the Bible out of context. When a Christian reads the Bible, we are listening to God speak and obeying His Voice and His Commands. Us Christians read our Bible and know that this is God's Word and He is speaking, and we want to know what He has to say. We take into account the FULL account of Scripture and it's SCRIPTURE ONLY (BIBLE ONLY). When a non-christian or a person involved in a cult reads their Bible, they look for errors in the Bible and start "justifying" themselves by pulling verses out of context and not taking the FULL Account of The Bible into consideration. Rather, they focus on a piece here or a piece there, but are only doing that to prolongue their denial of God's Sovereignty and man's inability to Save himself. They are quite happy being ignorant and want to keep themselves and others confused and fear-filled, in order to justify their wilfull disobedience to God and His Word. Paul was writting to the various congregations of the same faith. He exhorted some, corrected some, and rebuked others. So i'm not sure where you are going with this. Yes i accept the Bible as a whole. IF i were able to uphold the law, and live in perfect harmony with Scripture, i would have no need of a Saviour. Since you decided to answer my e-mail here, i'll ask the question again, here. Do you fulfill all of mgrs order of worship? Or do you take what you like, and disgard the rest? How can you say that? Paths or understandings, if we where the same person and had the same understanding that would be OUR path. But I am not you and you are not me, so how can you say that? IN Proverbs it says, "...PICK A PATH and whole heartedly follow it.." "A" path not "THE" path. Later it writes "...and you will get your JUST reward..." IS my way the true way? Or IS IT yours? The guy next to you? Up the street? We are all "CHRISTIANS". HE/THEY haven't heard our message. Are he/they not saved? They know Christ and live by His will. Are they on the wrong path? Or are they on a DIFFERENT path? If we where on the same path all of our names would be Bob (collective) we would all live in the same big house, have the same thoughts, wear the same clothes etc. We are different thus are on different paths. As for "Fire and brimstone" that wasn't a bad effort! Read Paul where he writes to the different groups, aren't the messages a little different? Isn't meaning the same? Weren't the paths that they were on a little different? I have another question (I don't know if this is the right place to ask but..) Do you accept (collective) the WHOLE Bible as truth or just the New Testament? If YES, do you fulfill every thing written in it? You commented on the "obradi", "if you don't do them fully........."
