Come on people what is up with all of this "Molokan" bashing???? I know that a lot of people have been hurt, myself included! Let us move on.... Is it really worth all ones energy to constantly question this religion?...It is what it is...Do you think it will change???? Maybe if one hold's there breath long enough. The real change is going to come with in.....A lot of "Molokans"and people of Other Religions are going to have a rude awakening when it will count. Remember, we will all be judged accordingly. If going to Sunday Morning church is not fulfilling enough or someone is not preaching what you would like to here, then go home and open up your Bible and ask the Lord to show you what HE would like you to learn. Question???? In Revelations it talkes about 12 tribes. Can anyone name them? and Who are they Now..or should I say What these tribes are called in this day and age????

:D A New Years Resolution! I don't have one... This is only because I always find a way to break it by March. One thing that I have done is to keep a good 15lbs off scence May. Fat Free cottage cheese and exercise! Use olive oil instead of butter and don't buy any junk food. If it is not there you can't eat it. I stopped buying potato chips and cut way back on the bread...ooooh that was sooooo hard! If you make the changes one at a time you will find it really is not that hard. As for the Kids...well, if they are hungry they will eat...even if it is good for them! You will begin to smile when your clothes start to fit a little looser. Happy New Year Seeking_truth_1. Thank you for your answer's. I agree that we are born sinners, there was only one Perfect Son. God Only know's if One is good enough to get to heaven. I agree that Only through the Son, there will be eternal salvation. If we live accordingly to the ten Commandments and TRY to love one another, then maybe we have a chance. Please humor me.....I can appreciate that you are from a "Russian backround" and IF you are from a "Molokan" backround you are not saying or refuse to say for what ever reason...anyway, If religion is not important, then why choose "MOLOKAN.NET" to state the way you fill about serving God? So,.... are you going to let a few people represent the whole Molokan tribe? The Molokan churches that I have gone to preach the Holy Trinity. Question? Why is there so many ways of believing in God? I know what the Bible says about ( Faith in Christ is the only Faith)...but these Religions came about after the death of christ. Why is there not just One Church....One place of worship? Please do not quote Ephesians again....this does not change the fact that there are many houses of worship. Can you respect that fact? Also, Molokan's are not the only people that fill they are the "only ones" that will be in Heaven..Have you talked to a Morman or a Apostolic or Jehova's wittness? I learn something new every time I read the Bible. I have also learned that when I read a chapter and my sister reads the same chapter we both get something different from it. Don't you fill that there are different religions because of this very situation? I have friends that are of different religions and we have the most interesting conversations. We are always learning from one another. The one thing that we do have in common is our Love for Christ and what we can do to be better human beings, also we respect one anothers way of worship. Tell me this, why are there many different "Faith's" mentioned in the Bible?.... Why are there many different "Faith's" or "Lables"of ways of serving God now? The perfect example is the church in San Francisco. Please read all of James chapter 2. As I read it, he is refering to wealthy vs poor, monotairy as well as in faith. Who was James addressing? Who was HIS brethren? He was speaking to the "children of Abraham". What was their "Faith"? In the begining our forefathers called themselves "True Christians". It was the separate religious communities that gave us the name Milk Drinkers "Molokan". We are Spritual Christians who believe in the "Holy Trinity". Seeking_Truth_1. Were you born a "Molokan" Spritual Christian? Why are you wanting to change the Molokan Spritual Christian way of serving God? By the way.."Easter" is a pagen holiday...read the definition in the dictionary. Christ Kept the passover.Matt.26:19. Read 1 Cor. 12:1-34. The way I read it, he say's to "Do this in rememberance of Me". Keep the Passover. I'm not sure if this book will help you. The book is called "A Molokan's search for truth" The correspondence of Tolstoy and F. Zheltov. This book is available in the U.M.C.A book store. This book was done by : Highgate Road Social Science Research Station & Slavic Research Group at the University of Ottawa The book it self does not give a lot of histiory, but it does have bibliographical references. most of the history is pre 1900. This book has a lot of reserch info. ;)

B) My kid's had a great time. I also know that they look forward to next year too! I also think that one of my kids might have found their future spouse The kid's enjoy meeting new kids every year. This is good....some kids do not come around very often and my kids have befriended many. Camp is a good thing for our kids.... Anyone else????? Your comments may help us with our future campers.

TK1....I was just using the $$$on outfits as an exaggeration, it is none of my business what they spend....That was not quite my point...We get to caught up in the EARTHLY things...example: How we "LOOK" or how we "FILL" about one another...It is not everyone, but just a few...the few that like to take one away from the whole reason why we are in the Lords house...WORSHIP. As for the Church...Clark St. was not the church I was even thinking of (there in their own"PRIVATE IDAHO" ). I believe that most of the churches have the problems that I had spoke of eariler, some more than others. As for other Churches that are outside of the Molokan Religion....All Churches have problems.....they have members that put themselves above everyone and members who are judged...members who are hurt for whatever reason...."the DEVIL" is still having a good time at mankind's exspence. What they do, or how they do it is none of my business...I am not a member of their Church...I do fill for them, but I am mostly concerned about the Religion that I was born into... I fill the lack of knowledge of the Holy Bible and truely living as Christ would like us to has hurt the Molokan people....with out LOVE for one another how can we PRAY for one another? I know what the bible says about this...the problem is their is a lot that do not..how to fix it ? Christ gave us a powerful tool. It is up to us to use it. We need to pray for our brethern that offend us, we need to pray for those that do not have knowledge of the Holy Bible and Christ. We need to pray for our children so that they know the true meaning of Christ's Love...

Sure, I see a problem with the church today. There are those who take tradition and make it into religion. I believe that those with the true Love of Christ see thru them. In order to fight the "good fight" of faith you need a foundation, I believe that our "foundation" is the Holy Bible. Those that do not know God's Holy Bible and his son Jesus Christ will always be lost. I fill this is what happend. Some Churches have put the S&L book before the Bible on the table and are lost. I fill they get so caught up fighting over the "LAW" written or UNwritten and judging on "WHO" is clean and UNclean (in the Molokan brotherhood) and what family is good enough, how one look's in there $500. outfit, or where there place is in the church ie(what row they sit in). Sorry I got carried away Our "Predke died for religious freedom. They wanted knowledge of the Bible. The Orthodox church dictated to the people of Russia on what they "Believed" not the love of Christ. We will stand before the Lord one day and when that time comes we will answer for our own sins not the sins of others and others will not answer for us. I don't think that all things that fill good are sin...ie(Birth of a child) the filling of the Holy Spirit when you are comforted _vti_cnf I hope that this type of response does not offend you this is just one's opinion _vti_cnf

Seeking_truth_1, You got so caught up in quoteing scripture and correcting me on faith and race you did not answer me on "why is so important to YOU that we let nenash in the Molokan brotherhood?" It is very clear to me that you really have a problem with the Molokan religion. You sound like someone that is seeking a "TRUTH" that will tell you what you want to here, and the Molokan Religion is not the Truth that you are looking for. We believe in following the Law's in Gods Holly Bible and believe in the Holy Sprit. The truth hurts at times but that is how we grow in the Truth of Christ. Remember what Christ had said "I came to enforce the Law not change it." You can quote scripture all day long....but that does not mean that the word of God is written in your heart.
